Investigation of antibacterial and anticancer activities of biosynthesized metal‐doped and undoped zinc oxide nanoparticles

open access: yesBiotechnology and Applied Biochemistry, EarlyView.
Abstract Over the past 10 years, nanotechnology has emerged as a very promising technique for a wide range of biomedical applications. Green synthesized metal and metal oxide nanoparticles (NPs) are cheap, easy to produce in large quantities, and safe for the environment.

Self‐Closing of Cracks Generated in Microstructure‐Controlled 400 μm‐Thick Composite Cathodes for All‐Solid‐State Batteries: Observed by In Situ Scanning Electron Microscopy with Energy‐Dispersive X‐Ray Spectroscopy

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, EarlyView.
Self‐closing of cracks generated in 400 μm‐thick LiCoO2‐Li10.35Ge1.35P1.65S12 composite cathode is observed in situ using scanning electron microscopy with energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy. The self‐closing proceeds depending on the microstructures of composites and the mechanical properties of Li10.35Ge1.35P1.65S12.

String Figuring young children's perspectives of quality in English early childhood education and care

open access: yesBritish Educational Research Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Quality in early childhood education and care (ECEC) is a contested concept and has generally been conceptualised by inter‐related indicators such as staff qualifications, educational environment, policy or child‐to‐staff ratios. There has been a more limited emphasis on how young children might perceive and experience quality.
