Neutrino Oscillation as a constraint in the dynamics of Pop III Gamma Ray Bursts [PDF]
Population III stars are believed to be rapidly-rotating sources with a mass range of hundreds to thousand of solar masses. Masses larger than 260 M$_\odot$ are expected to collapse resulting in central rotating Kerr black holes with large rotation ...

Bimetallic Nanoparticles as Cocatalysts for Photocatalytic Hydrogen Production
Recent developments have introduced bimetallic nanoparticles as effective cocatalysts for photocatalytic systems. This review explores the rapidly expanding research on bimetallic cocatalysts for photocatalytic production of hydrogen, emphasizing the creation of carrier‐selective contacts, localized surface plasmon resonance effects, methodologies for ...

Gravitational Radiation from Intermediate-Mass Black Holes
Recent X-ray observations of galaxies with ROSAT, ASCA, and Chandra have revealed numerous bright off-center point sources which, if isotropic emitters, are likely to be intermediate-mass black holes, with hundreds to thousands of solar masses.

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease in America's Black Population.
America's black population can be traced back to Africa from where hundreds of thousands of Africans were brought to the United States (U.S.) from West Africa via the transatlantic slave trade. Currently, Blacks in America are a rapidly growing subset of

This study demonstrates that pulsed potential electrolysis significantly improves CO2 reduction performance on copper‐nitrogen doped carbon electrodes. The formation of cationic copper sites and metallic clusters as a function of applied intermittent potential leads to notable selectivity changes compared to potentiostatic reduction.

In a case study, this article re-examines three key aspects of the anti-Jewish pogroms of 1905-1906 in Tsarist Russia: the concept of “Black Hundreds” as the major perpetrators, the question of whether state authorities approved pogrom violence, and ...

This work presents self‐propelled CRISPR/Cas9‐functionalized Au–MRs for rapid, amplification‐free, “on‐the‐fly” DNA detection. By harnessing motion‐assisted signal recovery, the platform achieved the limit of detection in low fM DNA concentrations, enabling detection across a wide dynamic range within only 5 min, which is significantly faster than any ...

THE COLOR PATTERN OF ALABIO DUCK (Anas platyrhynchos Borneo) IN SOUTH KALIMANTAN
The study was carried to identify the phenotypic variation of Alabio duck (Anas platyrhynchosBorneo) being kept by smallholder. This research was conducted in Hulu Sungai Selatan (HSS), HuluSungai Tengah (HST) and Hulu Sungai Utara (HSU), South ...

Epicyclic oscillations of fluid bodies Paper II. Strong gravity
Fluids in external gravity may oscillate with frequencies characteristic of the epicyclic motions of test particles. We explicitly demonstrate that global oscillations of a slender, perfect fluid torus around a Kerr black hole admit incompressible ...
