In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Stars falling too close to massive black holes in the centers of galaxies can be torn apart by the strong tidal forces. Simulating the subsequent feeding of the black hole with disrupted material has proved challenging because of the range of timescales ...

Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

A three‐dimensional magnetic field sensor is realized in chiral W/CoFeB/MgO multilayers, where spin–orbit torques reversibly reconfigure homochiral stripe domains. The symmetry of the torque enables offset‐free in‐plane sensing, while the reproducible domain reconfiguration extends the linear out‐of‐plane range. An anomalous Hall readout delivers large‐

Late-time Radio Flares in Tidal Disruption Events
Radio monitoring unveiled late (hundreds to a thousand days) radio flares in a significant fraction of tidal disruption events. We propose that these late-time radio flares are a natural outcome if the surrounding density profile flattens outside the ...

Room‐Temperature Synthesis of Strongly Confined Lead Halide Perovskite Quantum Dots
CsPbX3${\rm CsPbX}_3$ lead halide perovskite quantum dots (QDs) are synthesized in a room‐temperature, five‐minute synthesis, yielding size‐controlled QDs with bright, tunable emission governed by reaction conditions and halide composition. A strongly binding ligand, OD‐PEA, ensures months‐long stability under ambient conditions and facilitates their ...

Variability: A X-ray ruler for the AGN structure model
Validating our understanding of the innermost structure of Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) would require resolving sub-parsec scales. Lacking adequate direct imaging, X-ray astronomy can still contribute to this undertaking through the study of spectral ...

Thermal conductivity changes non‐monotonically as regioregular (RR) and regiorandom (RRa) P3HT films are doped with F4TCNQ as a function of the extent to which P3HT is doped: an increase in thermal conductivity is observed upon lightly doping P3HT compared to the undoped film, followed by a decrease in the heavily doped regime. ABSTRACT The performance

Electrospun Wood‐Derived Biopolymers as Electrodes in Electrochemical Energy Storage Technologies
Electrospinning transforms wood‐derived cellulose and lignin into architecturally defined, binder‐free carbon electrodes with tuneable porosity and functionality. This review shows how fibre design enables decoupled charge and mass transport, enhancing performance across battery systems, while identifying key challenges in spinnability, scalability ...
