Study of the working body mechanism in forging-and-stamping equipment
Introduction. The synthesized basic diagram of the frictional contact of solids in forging-and-stamping machines is considered. The possibility of obtaining the maximum load characteristics of the frictional contact within the variation interval of the ...

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

Clostridium Carboxidivorans’ Surface Characterization Using Contact Angle Measurement (CAM)
In order to develop and optimize a syngas fermentation using a hollow fiber membrane bioreactor (HFMB), this study proposes to characterize the surface of Clostridium carboxidivorans, a strictly anaerobic and gram- positive bacterium capable of producing

Golgi enzymes are retrieved from the plasma membrane to the trans‐Golgi network
Golgi enzymes are traditionally considered resident proteins retained within the Golgi apparatus. Here, we demonstrate that a subset transiently reaches the cell surface and is subsequently retrieved to the trans‐Golgi network via retrograde transport. Using a nanobody‐based toolkit, we uncover a dynamic trafficking cycle of several Golgi enzymes.
