We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

La governamentalità algoritmica: radicalizzazione e strategia immunitaria del capitalismo e del neoliberalismo? [PDF]
This article is a set of reflections on the question: ‘what is completely new in algorithmic governmentality compared to capitalism and neoliberalism?’ The following text is thus some preliminary, temporary and definitively uncertain intuitions in ...

Digital (In)Equality, Digital Inclusion, Digital Humanism
From its inception, the World Wide Web has been intended to be a force for social good. But there are many barriers and obstacles, a situation commonly characterized as the Digital Divide. Several billion people especially in the Global South do not have access to Internet/Web for reasons of lacking (affordable) infrastructure, poverty, low literacy ...

Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Errata to Sound Hashing Modes of Arbitrary Functions, Permutations, and Block Ciphers
In ToSC 2018(4), Daemen et al. performed an in-depth investigation of sound hashing modes based on arbitrary functions, permutations, or block ciphers. However, for the case of invertible primitives, there is a glitch.

Computing Logarithms Digit-by-Digit
In this work, we present an algorithm for computing logarithms of positive real numbers, that bares structural resemblance to the elementary school algorithm of long division. Using this algorithm, we can compute successive digits of a logarithm using a 4-operation pocket calculator.

Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and plasma cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) were analyzed to detect ESR1 mutations and methylation in patients with advanced breast cancer. CTC‐derived DNA showed higher sensitivity for mutation detection and revealed complementary genetic and epigenetic alterations, highlighting the added value of CTC analysis for understanding ...

Learning from the early adopters: developing the digital practitioner
This paper explores how Sharpe and Beetham’s Digital Literacies Framework which was derived to model students’ digital literacies, can be applied to lecturers’ digital literacy practices. Data from a small-scale phenomenological study of higher education
