The Implications of Ignorance for Quantum Error Correction Thresholds [PDF]
Quantum error correcting codes have a distance parameter, conveying the minimum number of single spin errors that could cause error correction to fail. However, the success thresholds of finite per-qubit error rate that have been proven for the likes of ...

Non-linear error correction, asymmetric adjustment and cointegration [PDF]
This article links the intertemporal choice model with the non-linear error correction (NEC) model. It has three main components. First, it outlines a model of non-linear error correction, in which the linear error correction term ?Xt (the vector time ...

Quantum Error Correction of Time-Correlated Errors [PDF]
The complexity of the error correction circuitry forces us to design quantum error correction codes capable of correcting a single error per error correction cycle. Yet, time-correlated error are common for physical implementations of quantum systems; an

Error Correction in the Bounded Storage Model [PDF]
We initiate a study of Maurer's bounded storage model (JoC, 1992) in presence of transmission errors and perhaps other types of errors that cause different parties to have inconsistent views of the public random source. Such errors seem inevitable in any implementation of the model.

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Machine Translation with Large Language Models Based on Correction Mechanism of Error-Prone Words in Translations [PDF]
Large Language Models (LLMs) demonstrate a certain level of performance in machine translation tasks. These models can generate translations upon receiving a translation prompt. However, owing to limitations imposed by the quality of pre-training corpora
