ARIMA Time Series Modeling with the Addition of Intervention and Outlier Factors on Inflation Rate in Indonesia

open access: yesJTAM (Jurnal Teori dan Aplikasi Matematika)
Extreme events in a time series model can be detected when the precise timing of the event, known as the intervention, is known. When the exact timing of an event is unknown, it is referred to as an outlier.  If these factors are neglected, the model's accuracy will be affected.

ZERO-INFLATED POISSON REGRESSION TO DETERMINE THE FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE THE MATERNAL MORTALITY RATE IN BANDUNG 2016

open access: yesJurnal Ilmiah Matematika dan Pendidikan Matematika, 2018
In Indonesia, especially Bandung, there are still many cases of maternal deaths during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum which can increase the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR). Cases of maternal deaths are mostly due to exsanguination, infection, anemia, and the other causes that related to pregnancy.

Toward a Unified Mechanistic Understanding of Polymer Electrolytes for Advanced Solid‐State Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Polymer electrolytes (PEs) are often indiscriminately grouped as “solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs)”, despite fundamental differences in their ion‐transport mechanisms. This Perspective establishes a mechanism‐based framework that distinguishes gel, quasi‐solid, and all‐solid polymer electrolytes based on their dominant ion‐transport pathways.

Spanish stock market sensitivity to real interest and inflation rates: an extension of the Stone two-factor model with factors of the Fama and French three-factor model [PDF]

open access: yesApplied Economics, 2008
This study is focussed on estimating the real interest and inflation sensitivity in Spanish market, proposing an extension of the Stone (1974) two-factor model and controlling for size and growth of the companies (Fama and French (1993) three-factor model), because of its importance in the stock sensitivity shown by previous literature.

A 3D‐Printed Blister Test Platform for Quantifying Biointerface Adhesion Mechanisms

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
A 3D‐printed blister platform enables energy‐resolved characterization of soft hydrogel–rigid interfaces. Integrating precision pressure control with hyperelastic modeling directly quantifies adhesion energy (G) and R‐curve toughening. Results reveal that modulating hydrogel concentration and surface roughness drives a tunable transition from cohesive ...

Neutron Reflectometry and Compression of Graded Hydrogel Surfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Highly‐entangled and covalently‐crosslinked hydrogels with thin and thick surface gel layers are compressed in neutron reflectometry experiments. Surface gel layer thickness dictates the extent to which the polymer network at the surface of a hydrogel collapses, while crosslinking chemistry, and therefore elastic modulus, impacts the pressure at which ...

Health Sector Inflation Rate and its Determinants in Iran: A Longitudinal Study (1995-2008).

open access: yesIranian Journal of Public Health, 2014
Health price inflation rate is different from increasing in health expenditures. Health expenditures contain both quantity and prices but inflation rate contains prices.
