Crossing the Threshold: Using Photostationary States to Control Supramolecular Polymerisation
Intermediate photostationary states regulate the concentration of a polymerisation‐active monomer. Once the nucleation threshold is crossed, small wavelength‐dependent changes in isomer composition are amplified into a non‐linear supramolecular assembly response.

High temperatures in a short time on electric stoves in private homes. Fast loss of tocochromanols using standardized conditions and a miniature heating apparatus. ABSTRACT Tocochromanols (vitamin E compounds) are essential ingredients in human nutrition. Their consumption via edible oils is considered the main source of dietary intake.

Mechanical Properties and Thermo‐Oxidative Aging of Hybrid EPDM Formulations With Bio‐Based Oils
This study evaluates bio‐based oil as an eco‐friendly replacement for paraffinic oil in EPDM rubber. While pure bio‐oil matches conventional mechanical properties, specific blends (25% and 75%) improve tensile strength and stiffness. The 50% blend requires tempering to optimize its sulfur network and morphology, eventually yielding a 35% strength ...

Herbarium‐based measurements are reliable predictors of fresh plant traits in Neotropical Myrtaceae
Abstract Premise Herbarium specimens are increasingly used to extract morphological traits for ecological and evolutionary studies, yet the effects of tissue desiccation on trait measurements remain poorly understood. Here, we tested two hypotheses: (H1) whether higher tissue water content leads to greater measurement changes after herborization and ...

Polarized microscopic images of the outer bone cortex (a and b) and deeper trabecular bone (c and d) of the deer calcaneus in thin cross‐sections. The brighter gray levels reflect more oblique‐to‐transverse collagen fibers in the compression/dorsal bone (a, c) and the darker gray levels reflect more longitudinal collagen in the tension/plantar bone (b,
