Among Bangladeshi adults, diets were dominated by cereals and grains, with low intake of dairy, fruits, vegetables, pulses, and animal‐source foods, leading to poor adherence to national dietary guidelines. Energy came largely from carbohydrates, fat intake was insufficient, and although protein intake was mostly adequate, it was primarily plant‐based.
