Functional-Semantic Field of a Modality in the Kalmyk Language (a directive modality)
The article deals with the basic means of expressing of modal values of a directive modality in modern Kalmyk language. The basic semantic zones of directive utterances (an order, a request, an advice, a permission, etc.) are described. The authors come to the conclusion that the main form of expression of the directive microfield is an imperative mood.
