2021The Korean Wave, or Hallyu, is a term that collectively refers to the international popularity of Korean pop culture. From the mid-1990s, as Korean dramas became popular in mainland China, the Korean Wave spread, and Korean songs and various Korean foods became popular, which contributed to the spread of the Korean Wave worldwide.
