Oral Recombinant Human Collagen III Protects Gastric Mucosa via G‐Quadruplex‐Mediated Activation of the Pla2g4a‐Prostaglandin Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Orally administered recombinant human type III collagen protects the gastric mucosa from ethanol‐induced injury by coordinating redox homeostasis, epithelial barrier repair, and arachidonic acid–prostaglandin metabolism. Gastric digestion releases the pentapeptide GPAEF, which interacts with the Pla2g4a promoter G‐quadruplex in a structure‐dependent ...

PrOMet: Accurate and Robust Metal‐Binding Site and Type Prediction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
PrOMet is a two‐stage deep learning framework for jointly predicting metal‐binding sites and ion identities from protein structures. Surface candidate sites are first pruned, followed by refinement of the most probable sites and metal types. This hierarchical strategy enables robust and accurate metal prediction for cryo‐EM and AlphaFold‐derived ...

Neonatal Sevoflurane Exposure Induces Long‐Term Cognitive Impairment via Epigenetically Mediated MMP9 Activation and Perineuronal Net Disruption in the Hippocampal CA2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Hippocampal CA2 perineuronal nets ensheathing excitatory pyramidal neurons are selectively vulnerable to repeated neonatal sevoflurane exposure. Epigenetic upregulation of MMP9 via reduced H3K27me3 disrupts PNN integrity, impairs BDNF–TrkB signaling, and causes synaptic protein loss and dendritic spine deficits, leading to persistent social and spatial

Acoustically Activatable Drug‐Loaded Nanodroplets for Mechanochemical Therapy in Solid Tumors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Microfluidically fabricated drug‐loaded nanodroplets are sequentially activated by dual‐frequency ultrasound through acoustic droplet vaporization followed by bubble collapse, enabling spatially controlled drug release and mechanical tumor fractionation, resulting in synergistic mechanochemotherapy and prolonged survival.
