A quantitative index of the development of soil erosion on the agricultural lands is suggested.

Zemleustrojstvo, kadastr i monitoring zemel' (Land management, cadastre and land monitoring)The article presents the results of a soil study in the Saratov Oblast, particularly in the Khvalynsk District. Soil-ecological and reclamation characteristics of the studied soils are provided. Sampling was conducted using the envelope method, and agrochemical analysis was performed in accordance with standard methodologies.
