Comment on: “The modified extended tanh-function method for solving Burgers-type equations” [Physica A 361 (2006) 394–404]

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 2021
Abstract In this letter, we analyze the paper by Soliman (2006). Using the modified extended tanh-function (METF) method, Soliman have found exact “solutions” of the Burgers type equations including one-dimensional Burgers and coupled Burgers equations. In this comment, we show that none of these solutions satisfy the corresponding Burgers equations.

SOLITONS AND OTHER SOLUTIONS FOR THE (2+1)-DIMENSIONAL HEISENBERG FERROMAGNETIC SPIN CHAIN EQUATION USING IMPROVED MODIFIED EXTENDED TANH-FUNCTION METHOD

Advances in Mathematics: Scientific Journal, 2021
This paper studies $(2 + 1)$-dimensional Heisenberg ferromagnetic spin chain model by using improved modified extended tanh-function method. Various types of solutions are extracted such as bright solitons, singular solitons, dark solitons, singular periodic solutions, Weierstrass elliptic periodic type solutions and exponential function solutions ...

The modified extended tanh-function method for solving Burgers-type equations

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 2006
Abstract By means of the modified extended tanh-function (METF) method the multiple travelling wave solutions of some different kinds of nonlinear partial differential equations are presented and implemented in a computer algebraic system. Solutions for the nonlinear equations such as one-dimensional Burgers, KDV–Burgers, coupled Burgers and two ...
