Complex Crustal Deformation Beneath the Cathaysia Block in South China: Evidence From Receiver Function Analysis

open access: yesEarth and Space Science, Volume 10, Issue 1, January 2023., 2023
Abstract By harmonically fitting the arrival times of the P‐to‐S converted phases from the Moho, we systematically investigate the crustal anisotropy beneath the Cathaysia Block (CaB) and the surrounding areas in South China for the first time. The measured anisotropy parameters show strong lateral variations with an average splitting time of 0.35 ± 0 ...

RETRACTED: Geochronology, geochemistry, and genesis of the Shamai tungsten deposit, Inner Mongolia, NE China

open access: yesResource Geology, Volume 73, Issue 1, January‐December 2023., 2023
The tungsten deposits in NE China can be divided into four mineralization periods, namely 300–290 Ma, 250–230 Ma, 200–180 Ma, 150–130 Ma. The granites of Shamai deposit could have originated by partial melting of the juvenile crust mixed with mantle‐derived components. Mixing of various fluids are the main mechanism of mineralization in Shamai deposit.

Comparative Study on Three Autoencoder‐Based Deep Learning Algorithms for Geochemical Anomaly Identification

open access: yesEarth and Space Science, Volume 9, Issue 11, November 2022., 2022
Abstract Deep autoencoder (AE) networks show a powerful ability for geochemical anomaly identification. Because of little contribution to the AE network, small probability samples (again, please check this) having comparatively high reconstructed errors can be recognized by the trained model as anomalous samples. However, different autoencoder networks

Effects of pH and Salinity on the Hydrothermal Transport of Tungsten: Insights from In Situ Raman Spectroscopic Characterization of K2WO4‐NaCl‐HCl‐CO2 Solutions at Temperatures up to 400°C

open access: yesGeofluids, Volume 2020, Issue 1, 2020., 2020
In situ Raman spectra of aqueous K2WO4‐HCl, K2WO4‐HCl‐NaCl, and K2WO4‐CO2‐NaCl solutions were collected at elevated temperature (T, 100–400°C) and constant pressure (P) of 30 MPa. The stretching vibration band of the W=O bond (v1) was analyzed to reveal the species of tungsten (W) responsible for the hydrothermal transport of W during mineralization ...
