This study reveals that photothermal therapy, while inducing immunogenic cell death in triple‐negative breast cancer, paradoxically activates the oncogenic mTOR pathway to drive immune evasion. To counter this, a smart nanocomposite is engineered to co‐deliver localized hyperthermia and mTOR inhibition.

RISK BALANCING STRATEGIES IN THE FLORIDA DAIRY INDUSTRY: AN APPLICATION OF CONDITIONAL VALUE AT RISK [PDF]
Legislation has prompted changes in milk price volatility. Milk price volatility impacts the producer's exposure to business risk which is compound by the firms financial risk. Financial risk is a function of the firms capital structure. In the short run

An evolutionary molecular dynamics platform is used to design P1.6, a membrane‐active peptide that senses lipid packing defects in viral envelopes. P1.6 adopts a stabilized α‐helical structure upon membrane contact, disrupts virus‐like liposomes, and damages HIV‐1 particles.

This study presents an intravesical delivery strategy of ferroptosis‐ and immunity‐inducing nanozyme‐loaded thermoresponsive hydrogels (FMCC@PNH) for enhanced bladder cancer therapy. Abstract Current intravesical therapies for bladder cancer after resection are limited by poor tissue penetration, off‐target effects, and insufficient efficacy.

Hedging currency risk: Does it have to be so complicated? [PDF]
The question of whether foreign investments should be systematically hedged against currency risk has not been clearly answered to date. Numerous theoretical and empirical studies have provided contradictory conclusions.

Radiotherapy induces tumor cells to release microparticles (RT‐MPs) into the circulation. The mitochondrial DNA carried by these RT‐MPs activates the STING/NLRP3/GSDMD axis in splenic neutrophils, triggering IL‐1β secretion. This, in turn, enhances dendritic cell function and facilitates the formation of cytotoxic T lymphocytes, thereby promoting ...

SiCmiR Atlas: Single‐Cell miRNA Landscape Reveals Hub‐miRNA and Network Signatures in Human Cancers
SiCmiR predicts mature miRNA activity at single‐cell resolution using only 977 landmark genes, enabling scalable reconstruction of miRNA landscapes across diverse tissues and disease contexts. The SiCmiR Atlas integrates 9.36 million cells with analytical tools for hub‐miRNA discovery, biomarker prioritization, and regulatory network interrogation ...

Risk Management Using Futures Contracts: The Impact of Spot Market Contracts and Production Horizons on the Optimal Hedge Ratio [PDF]
We specify a principal-agent marketing channel involving producers, wholesalers, retailers and a futures market. Our hedge ratio for producers appears to be much lower than the common price-risk minimising ones as we account for producers vertical ...

GlycoChat Uncovers Glycan–Lectin Circuits in the Tumor Microenvironment of Pancreatic Cancer
Aberrant glycosylation drives cancer progression, yet its role in the tumor microenvironment remains unclear. We developed GlycoChat to map glycan–lectin circuits at single‐cell resolution. We discovered that cancer cells induce immunosuppressive macrophage differentiation and impair phagocytosis through interactions with CLEC10A and SIGLEC3 ...
