Abstract This chapter summarizes the book and suggests that history is repeating in key ways. Again, STV has intellectual traction because it is compatible with nonpartisanship. Other forms of "ranked-choice voting" are seen as ways to familiarize ranked ballots. These developments are broadly similar to compromises made in 1913.
