Construction of Sava river quay in Croatia

After eighteen months of construction work, the 120 meter reinforced concrete quay on river Sava at Slavonski Brod, Croatia, has been finished. Foundation of the structure, was made of geotechnical diaphragms and piles. Quay structure consist of in-situ constructed base girders, longitudinal and transverse walls, as well as of columns.

God. 1915. Izidora Kršnjavog je na medalji potretirao Ivo Kerdić. Kršnjavi s gotovom medaljom nikako nije bio zadovoljan, platio ju je iz vlastitog džepa, te je cijelu ediciju dao baciti u rijeku Savu. Cijelu tu aferu spominje i Kršnjavi u svojim dnevnicima.

Wavelet analysis of hydrological signals on an example of the River Sava

Spectral analysis and wavelet analysis of successive flood waves on the basis of measured water levels help to understand hydrological processes and to improve hydrological modeling. In this paper, we compare Fourier transform, short time Fourier transform and continuous wavelet transforms to describe behavior of River Sava.
