circRIP2 accelerates bladder cancer progression via miR-1305/Tgf-β2/smad3 pathway

open access: yesMolecular Cancer, 2020
Background Increasing evidences indicate that circular RNAs exert critical function in regulating bladder cancer progression. However, the expressive patterns and roles of circular RNAs in bladder cancer remain less investigated.

Resistivity effect in the vicinity of a coronal magnetic null point

open access: yesFrontiers in Astronomy and Space Sciences
Introduction: We aim to examine how magnetic resistivity impacts the movement of magnetoacoustic waves near a magnetic null-point in the solar corona.Method: The resistive, nonlinear MHD simulations are solved by the PLUTO code in 2.5D for different ...

Effective surgical treatment of life-threatening huge vascular anomalies associated with thrombocytopenia and coagulopathy in infants unresponsive to drug therapy

open access: yesBMC Pediatrics, 2020
Background Systemic drug therapy is generally recommended for infant huge vascular anomalies associated with thrombocytopenia and coagulopathy, but some patients are not suitable due to drug unresponsiveness or life threatening conditions before the drug

How Nonlinearity Changes Different Parameters in the Solar Corona

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal, 2023
We consider different velocity amplitudes of incident waves to study nonlinearity effects on the plasma parameters around a magnetic null point in the solar corona. This could query the seismological methods used to observe and interpret damping profiles

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

Cutaneous Melanoma Drives Metabolic Changes in the Aged Bone Marrow Immune Microenvironment

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, increasingly affects older adults. Our study reveals that melanoma induces changes in iron and lipid levels in the bone marrow, impacting immune cell populations and increasing susceptibility to ferroptosis.

Tracking Motor Progression and Device‐Aided Therapy Eligibility in Parkinson's Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To characterise the progression of motor symptoms and identify eligibility for device‐aided therapies in Parkinson's disease, using both the 5‐2‐1 criteria and a refined clinical definition, while examining differences across genetic subgroups.

Changes in Immune‐Inflammation Status and Acute Ischemic Stroke Prognosis in Prospective Cohort

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Inflammation is a critical risk factor for poor outcomes in cerebral infarction. Prior studies focused primarily on baseline inflammation status, neglecting dynamic longitudinal changes. We try to investigate the association between immune‐inflammation status alterations and stroke prognosis, and evaluated three systemic biomarkers'
