Experimental Characterization and Constitutive Modeling of the Effect of Prior Inelastic Strain on the Viscoplastic Behavior of AD730 at 700 °C

This study shows that superalloys used in aircraft engine disks become much more prone to deformation at high temperatures if they have been strained during manufacturing. This effect increases with the level of prior strain but eventually reaches a limit.

Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions

DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. This paper provides an empirical evidence of the variance decomposition of carbon dioxide emissions, FDI inflows, GDP per capita and imports in GCC countries; UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait. The method adopted is based on the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). It examined a 256 observation for the duration 2000 – 2010.

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells

Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.
