Novel Functional Materials via 3D Printing by Vat Photopolymerization

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This Perspective systematically analyzes strategies for incorporating functionalities into 3D‐printed materials via Vat Photopolymerization (VP). It explores the spectrum of achievable functionalities in recently reported novel materials—such as conductive, energy‐storing, biodegradable, stimuli‐responsive, self‐healing, shape‐memory, biomaterials, and

Reactive Carbide‐Based Synthesis and Microstructure of NASICON Sodium Metal All Solid‐State Electrolyte

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Sodium Metal All‐Solid State Batteries (Na‐ASSBs) are enabled by the synthesis of the solid state electrolyte, NASICON (Na1+xZr2SixP3‐xO12), using carbide‐based precursor compounds (ZrC and SiC); resulting in dense, pure, and mechanically improved microstructure.

Dynamics among the term spread, stock market volatility forecast, financial market risk and oil price: an empirical analysis

open access: yesFinancial Innovation
The term spread is viewed as a leading indicator for predicting stock market volatility. The safe haven hypothesis argues that rising stock market volatility may increase the demand for Treasury-issued bonds, thereby lowering the term spread.

To Examine the Spillover effect between the KSE100 and S&P500 Index

open access: yesUniversidad y Empresa, 2018
The volatility spillover is defined as the transmission of instability from market to market. It occurs when the volatility price change in one market causes a lagged impact on volatility price in another market above the local effects of market. In this

Porous Bi2S3 Bulk With Excellent Thermoelectric Performance by Solid States Replacement and Low Melting‐Point Metal Volatilization

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
By introducing FeCoNi medium‐entropy alloy, the bismuth sulfide (Bi2S3) material achieves a record‐high ZT of 1.1 at 773 K, owing to the solid‐states replacement reaction and the volatilization of low melting‐point metal. This strategy is also applicable to other sulfur‐based thermoelectric materials.

Assessment of the volatility of the Moroccan stock market [PDF]

open access: yesArts & Humanities Open Access Journal, 2018
There are certainly distinct allocation strategies depending on the assumed dynamics of risky asset prices T here was no clear pattern of structural increase in volatility on the Moroccan equity market except for the appearance of significant instantaneous peaks It is the consequence more than the cause of the instability of the Moroccan stock ...

Volatility Modelling of the BRICS Stock Markets

open access: yesStatistics, Optimization & Information Computing, 2020
Volatility modelling is a key factor in equity markets for risk and portfolio management. This paper focuses on the use of a univariate generalized autoregressive conditional heteroscedasticity (GARCH) models for modelling volatility of the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) stock markets.

Cross-correlation asymmetries and causal relationships between stock and market risk

open access: yes, 2014
We study historical correlations and lead-lag relationships between individual stock risk (volatility of daily stock returns) and market risk (volatility of daily returns of a market-representative portfolio) in the US stock market. We consider the cross-
