Changes in terrestrial ecosystems of the Lower Volga region caused by river flow regulation
Arid Ecosystems, 2017We continued our complex ecological studies in the Lower Volga region started in 2014–2015 (Kuz’mina et al., 2015a) in order to investigate the current state of floodplain terrestrial ecosystems in changing climate conditions (Kouzmina and Treshkin, 2014a) and during regulation of the river flow.

POND REARING OF PADDLEFISH UNDERYEARLINGS IN STURGEON POLYCULTURE IN THE LOWER VOLGA RIVER REGION
STATE AND DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS OF AGRIBUSINESS. In the frame of the XXIII Agribusiness Forum of the South of Russia and the Exhibition «Interagromash» Volume 1, 2020The cultivation of paddlefish underyearlings in polyculture with sturgeons (hybrid bester) in fish ponds was studied. The hydrochemical and hydrobiological parameters in ponds during the cultivation were investigated. A comparative assessment of the growth rates of paddlefish and bester underyearlings during one and two cycles pond cultivation has been

[Gamasid mites of common voles in the central Volga River region].
Parazitologiia, 1986The specific composition of gamasid mites from three species of voles (Microtus arvalis Pall., M. agrestis L., M. oeconomus Pall.) is given. Forest, field and flood-land groupings of the common vole having distinct phenotypical differences are characterized by differences in the structure of their parasite fauna.
