Results 61 to 70 of about 1,173,430 (270)
This study reports the comparative deviations in experimental viscosity, density and ultrasonic velocity of two new ethanol-based binary liquid mixtures (ethanol + 1-hexanol and ethanol + 1-octanol) at 303.15 K by applying various theoretical models ...

THEORETICAL MODELS OF DARK ENERGY [PDF]
Mounting observational data confirm that about 73% of the energy density consists of dark energy which is responsible for the current accelerated expansion of the Universe. We present observational evidences and dark energy projects. We then review various theoretical ideas that have been proposed to explain the origin of dark energy; they contain the ...

Identification of inhibitors of the Salmonella FraB deglycase, a drug target
A high‐throughput screen was used to identify inhibitors of Salmonella FraB, a drug target. Characterization of top hits (identified after an additional counter screen) revealed that some triazolidines, thiadiazolidines, and triazolothiadiazoles are mixed‐type inhibitors of FraB.

Model Theoretic Characterizations of Large Cardinals Revisited [PDF]
In [Bon20], model theoretic characterizations of several established large cardinal notions were given. We continue this work, by establishing such characterizations for Woodin cardinals (and variants), various virtual large cardinals, and subtle cardinals.

Renormalization: A Number Theoretical Model [PDF]
We analyse the Dirichlet convolution ring of arithmetic number theoretic functions. It turns out to fail to be a Hopf algebra on the diagonal, due to the lack of complete multiplicativity of the product and coproduct. A related Hopf algebra can be established, which however overcounts the diagonal.

Theoretical model of the Leidenfrost temperature
The Leidenfrost effect is a phenomenon in which a liquid, poured onto a surface significantly hotter than the liquid's boiling point, produces a layer of vapor that prevents the liquid from rapid evaporation. Rather than making physical contact, a drop of water levitates above the surface. The temperature above which the phenomenon occurs is called the

Establishment and biological characterization of radioresistant colorectal cancer cell lines
Under ionizing radiation exposure, radiation‐sensitive cancer cells exhibit oxidative stress and DNA damage, while radiation‐resistant cancer cells exhibit strong antioxidant properties and DNA damage repair. Radiotherapy resistance is a major cause of recurrence and metastasis in colorectal cancer (CRC).
