Les érudits de la science-fiction en France, une tradition critique endogène

open access: yesReS Futurae, 2012
La science-fiction fait l'objet d'une critique d'amateurs. Ces amateurs disposent de connaissances approfondies de leur domaine. Cet article étudie trois modalités de cette érudition en France, selon qu'elle est liée à une critique périodique, à une ...

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Audit Theory and Conceptual Framework for the Development of Auditing

open access: yesУчёт. Анализ. Аудит, 2019
The article considers the problem of developing a structured theory of audit. To that end the author develops the structure of a scientific theory in audit, introduces assumptions and axioms, modifies and complements audit postulates, refines the essence

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Le fait religieux sacrificiel comme révélateur de présupposés éthiques et théologiques

open access: yesCahiers d'Études du Religieux- Recherches Interdisciplinaires, 2016
For over a century, historians of religion have interrogated the notion of sacrifice. After several attempts at theorisation, it seems now more appropriate to challenge any theoretical approach, and even to criticize the validity of the category of ...

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

A phenomenological analysis of LHC neutrino scattering at NLO accuracy matched to parton showers

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
We perform a detailed phenomenological study of high-energy neutrino deep inelastic scattering (DIS) focused on LHC far-forward experiments such as FASER $$\nu $$ ν and SND@LHC.

Research Frameworks: Critical Components for Reporting Qualitative Health Care Research

open access: yesJournal of Patient-Centered Research and Reviews
Qualitative health care research can provide insights into health care practices that quantitative studies cannot. However, the potential of qualitative research to improve health care is undermined by reporting that does not explain or justify the ...
