Twisted ambidexterity in equivariant homotopy theory

open access: yesJournal of Topology, Volume 19, Issue 2, June 2026.
Abstract We develop the concept of twisted ambidexterity in a parametrized presentably symmetric monoidal ∞$\infty$‐category, which generalizes the notion of ambidexterity by Hopkins and Lurie and the Wirthmüller isomorphisms in equivariant stable homotopy theory, and is closely related to Costenoble–Waner duality.

Algebraic Concepts in the Study of Graphs and Simplicial Complexes

open access: yes, 2006
This paper presents a survey of concepts in commutative algebra that have applications to topology and graph theory. The primary algebraic focus will be on Stanley-Reisner rings, classes of polynomial rings that can describe simplicial complexes. Stanley-

Studies on the number theory of orders

open access: yes, 1982
Bibliography: pages 78-81.In the nineteenth century no distinction was drawn between maximal and nonmaximal orders in a numberfield. Most of the work on orders in this period was done by Dedekind and Kronecker.

Invariants of binary forms [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We work over the field of complex numbers. Consider the set V_n of binary forms of degree n, i.e., homogeneous polynomials of degree n in two variables. An invariant of V_n is a polynomial in the coefficients of a form in V_n whose value does not change ...

Characterizations of rings and modules by means of lattices

open access: yes, 1965
PhDIn this thesis we study the relationship between the lattice of submodules and the algebraic structure of a module. The key remark in our study will be the fact that the homomorphisms between two independent submadules of a module can be ...

Gorenstein rings and Kustin-Miller unprojection [PDF]

open access: yes
Chapter 1 briefly describes the motivation for the thesis and presents some background material. Chapter 2 develops the foundations of the theory of unprojection in the local and projective settings.

Associated Prime Ideals in Non-Noetherian Rings

open access: yes, 1984
The theory of associated prime ideals is one of the most basic notions in the study of modules over commutative Noetherian rings. For modules over non-Noetherian rings however, the classical associated primes are not so useful and in fact do not exist ...
