The theory of planned behaviour: The effects of perceived behavioural control and self‐efficacy

Efficacy of the Theory of Planned Behaviour: A meta‐analytic review
British Journal of Social Psychology, 2001The Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) has received considerable attention in the literature. The present study is a quantitative integration and review of that research. From a database of 185 independent studies published up to the end of 1997, the TPB accounted for 27% and 39% of the variance in behaviour and intention, respectively.

The effects of subjective norms on behaviour in the theory of planned behaviour: A meta‐analysis
British Journal of Social Psychology, 2009A meta‐analysis investigated the effects of perceived injunctive (IN) and descriptive (DN) norms on behaviour (BEH) within the theory of planned behaviour (TPB) in a sample of 196 studies. Two related correlation matrices (pairwise and listwise) were synthesized from the data and used to model the TPB relations with path analyses.
