IrrMap: A Large-Scale Comprehensive Dataset for Irrigation Method Mapping [PDF]
We introduce IrrMap, the first large-scale dataset (1.1 million patches) for irrigation method mapping across regions. IrrMap consists of multi-resolution satellite imagery from LandSat and Sentinel, along with key auxiliary data such as crop type, land use, and vegetation indices.

Late‐onset asystole associated with vagal nerve stimulation
Abstract Vagal nerve stimulation (VNS) is a form of neuromodulation that is an established adjunct in the management of drug‐resistant epilepsy. The common side effects of VNS are cough, dysphonia, or shortness of breath, which are often mild and do not require discontinuation of therapy.

A semi-centralized multi-agent RL framework for efficient irrigation scheduling [PDF]
This paper proposes a Semi-Centralized Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning (SCMARL) approach for irrigation scheduling in spatially variable agricultural fields, where management zones address spatial variability. The SCMARL framework is hierarchical in nature, with a centralized coordinator agent at the top level and decentralized local agents at the ...

Integrating climate change, biological invasions, and infectious wildlife diseases
Climate change is likely to affect infectious diseases that are facilitated by biological invasions, with repercussions for wildlife conservation and zoonotic risks. Current invasion management and policy are underprepared for the future risks associated with such invasion‐related wildlife diseases. By considering evidence from bioclimatology, invasion
