Activation Enhancement and Grain Size Improvement for Poly-Si Channel Vertical Transistor by Laser Thermal Annealing in 3D NAND Flash

open access: yesMicromachines, 2023
The bit density is generally increased by stacking more layers in 3D NAND Flash. Lowering dopant activation of select transistors results from complex integrated processes.

IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Behavior and Study of the Kinetics Aspects of Hydrothermal Leaching Conducted on Thermal Activated Products of Complex Polymetallic Secondary Sulfide Concentrate [PDF]

open access: yesArchives of Metallurgy and Materials
The utilization of complex polymetallic secondary sulfide concentrate (CPSSC) is difficult, owing to its special structure and composition. In this paper, CPSSC was firstly activated by roasting under atmosphere, followed by hydrothermal leaching under ...

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Investigations of the changes in the bentonite structure caused by the different treatments [PDF]

open access: yesScience of Sintering, 2015
The bentonite was treated in different ways and the changes in structure were monitored. Acid activation with sulphuric acid of investigated bentonite caused the increase in specific volume of micropore-mesopore.

Thermally activated escape of driven systems: the activation energy [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics A: Mathematical and General, 1999
Thermally activated escape in the presence of a periodic external field is investigated theoretically and through analogue experiments and digital simulations. The observed variation of the activation energy for escape with driving force parameters is accurately described by the logarithmic susceptibility (LS).

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Self-association and Chaperone Activity of Hsp27 Are Thermally Activated [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Biological Chemistry, 2006
The small heat shock protein 27 (Hsp27) is an oligomeric, molecular chaperone in vitro. This chaperone activity and other physiological roles attributed to Hsp27 have been reported to depend on the state of self-association. In the present work, we have used sedimentation velocity experiments to demonstrate that the self-association of Hsp27 is ...
