Charge Storage and Dark Photocatalysis in Multivariate Ti‐Based Metal‐Organic Frameworks

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The mixed‐linker series of the titanium‐based metal–organic framework COK‐47 enables systematic tuning of photoresponsiveness and (dark) photocatalytic activity, deepening our understanding of structure‐property‐function relationships. Tailored metal‐to‐ligand charge transfer between the secondary building units (metal‐oxo layers and organic linkers ...

Methanesulfonic Acid as a Dual‐Role Reagent for Porous Polymer Network Design

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The design of porous polymer networks (PPNs) using methanesulfonic acid (MSA) as a dual‐role reagent facilitates the synthesis of robust PPNs for specific applications. It also makes the scale‐up process techno‐economically feasible because MSA functions simultaneously as both a solvent and a catalyst for the reaction.

Layered Spin‐Crossover Metal‐Organic Frameworks for Light‐Induced Control of Two‐Dimensional Quantum Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Spin‐crossover metal‐organic frameworks (SCO‐MOFs) provide a route to control the electronic and magnetic properties of two‐dimensional quantum materials. By integrating a layered SCO‐MOFs with graphene, CrSBr, and NbSe2 nanodevices, thermally and light induced spin transitions induce strain that reversibly modulates charge transport, magnetic memory ...

Breaking Bottlenecks in Solid Electrolyte Discovery With Large Artificial Intelligence Models

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Large AI models are presented as a route to break key bottlenecks in solid electrolyte discovery by linking materials databases, machine‐learning interatomic potentials, large language models, and autonomous experiments. This perspective highlights how AI can accelerate the identification of solid electrolytes with fast ion transport, stable interfaces,
