THE TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCE OF UNSTEADY HEAT CONDUCTION IN SOLIDS
A mathematical model of the process of unsteady thermal conductivity of solids is proposed in the case where the dependence of the thermal characteristics of the medium (heat capacity, density and thermal conductivity coefficient) on temperature cannot ...

First principles investigation of the electronic-thermal transport of ThN, UN, and ThC
The resistivity and electronic-thermal conductivity of ThN, ThC and UN were compared. It was found that the new electron–phonon physics from first principles code Electron-Phonon coupling using Wannier functions (EPW, v.

Thermal conductivity of solid CF2Cl2 [PDF]
The thermal conductivity of solid CF2Cl2 is measured by the linear-flow method in the temperature range 80–115K under saturated vapor pressure. Special attention is given to the explanation of the heat transfer process under constant density. The temperature dependence of the isochoric thermal conductivity is analyzed within a model in which heat is ...

Thermal conductivity of sputtered amorphous Ge films
We measured the thermal conductivity of amorphous Ge films prepared by magnetron sputtering. The thermal conductivity was significantly higher than the value predicted by the minimum thermal conductivity model and increased with deposition temperature ...

Low-dimensional heat conduction in surface phonon polariton waveguide
Heat conduction in solids is typically governed by the Fourier’s law describing a diffusion process due to the short wavelength and mean free path for phonons and electrons.

Thermal Conductivity of Solid Hydrogen
The thermal conductivity of solid parahydrogen containing 0.2 to 5% orthohydrogen has been measured over the temperature range 1.5-6 \ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}K. On the low-temperature side of the conductivity maximum, the conductivity shows both a ${T}^{3}$ dependence and a strong dependence on orthohydrogen concentration.
