The thermal decomposition of potassium and sodium-pyrosulfate [PDF]

open access: green, 1969
Proceeding from KHSO4, K2S2O8, NaHSO4 and Na2S2O8, potassium- and sodium-pyrosulfates were prepared and their thermal decomposition was investigated by a T.G.A. method. This was done in order to clarify contradictory values found in the literature.

Thermal Decomposition of Energetic Materials by ReaxFF Reactive Molecular Dynamics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
We report the study of thermal decomposition of 1,3,5-trinitrohexahydro-s-triazine (RDX) bonded with polyurethane (Estane) and of the bulk hydrazine by molecular dynamics (MD) simulations equipped with the reactive force field (ReaxFF).

Thermal Decomposition Behavior of Hydroxytyrosol (HT) in Nitrogen Atmosphere Based on TG-FTIR Methods

open access: yesMolecules, 2018
The thermal decomposition behavior of olive hydroxytyrosol (HT) was first studied using thermogravimetry (TG). Cracked chemical bond and evolved gas analysis during the thermal decomposition process of HT were also investigated using thermogravimetry ...

Thermal decomposition of stichtite [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry, 2007
The mineral stichtite was synthesised and its thermal decomposition measured using thermogravimetry coupled to an evolved gas mass spectrometer. Mass loss steps were observed at 52, 294, 550 and 670°C attributed to dehydration, dehydroxylation and loss of carbonate. The loss of carbonate occurred at higher temperatures than dehydroxylation.

Thermal decomposition products of polymethylene [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science Part B: Polymer Letters, 1968
AbstractDecomposition products of polymers have been determined by many investigators, but the results are often conflicting because of difficulties in analyzing a large number of products. A comprehensive analysis of the volatile thermal decomposition products of high‐density polyethylene has been made with the latest techniques in gas chromatography.

Sandwich structure for enhancing the interface reaction of hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane and nanoporous carbon scaffolds film to improve the thermal decomposition performance

open access: yesDefence Technology, 2022
Improving the thermal decomposition performance of hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane (CL-20) by appropriate methods is helpful to promote the combustion performance of CL-20-based solid propellants. In this study, we synthesized a sandwich structure of CL-20

Thermal decomposition study of perchlorate-based metal-free molecular perovskite DAP-4 mixed with ammonium perchlorate

open access: yesCase Studies in Thermal Engineering, 2022
The molecular perovskite energetic materials (H2dabco)[NH4(ClO4)3] (DAP-4, H2dabco2+ = 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane-1,4-diium), limits its separate application in explosives duo to the severe negative oxygen balance.
