Influence of an Argon/Silane Atmosphere on the Temperature of a Thermal Plasma
The influence of a silane‐doped argon atmosphere on the chemical composition and temperature of a thermal nontransferring argon plasma is investigated using optical emission spectroscopy. As a result of the high amount of free electrons resulting from the stepwise ionization and dissociation of the silane molecule, even a silane addition of 0.01 vol ...

Experimental Study of the Thermal Decomposition Properties of Binary Imidazole Ionic Liquid Mixtures
Ionic liquids (ILs) have a wide range of applications, owing to their negligible vapor pressure, high electrical conductivity, and low melting point. However, the thermal hazards of ILs and their mixtures are also non-negligible.

Handbook of Establishing and Maintaining Oxygen‐Free Atmospheres
This study presents a practical framework for creating oxygen‐free atmospheres at ambient pressure using silane‐doped inert gases. The results show that ultra‐low oxygen levels and strongly reduced water content can be achieved through controlled silane dosing, drying systems, and sensor monitoring.

Experimental and Density Functional Theory Studies on 1,1,1,4,4,4-Hexafluoro-2-Butene Pyrolysis
A series of thermal decomposition experiments were conducted over a temperature range of 873–1073 K to evaluate the thermal stability of 1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluoro-2-butene (HFO-1336mzz(Z)) and the production of hydrogen fluoride (HF).

New thermal decomposition pathway for TATB
Abstract Understanding the thermal decomposition behavior of TATB (1,3,5-triamino-2,4,6-trinitrobenzene) is a major focus in energetic materials research because of safety issues. Previous research and modelling efforts have suggested benzo-monofurazan condensation producing H 2

Oxide‐Free Titanium Coatings by Wire Arc Spraying in a Silane‐Doped Inert Atmosphere
A silane‐doped argon atmosphere enables the production of oxide‐free titanium coatings via twin‐wire arc spraying at ambient pressure. This innovative approach eliminates residual oxygen, creating process conditions that prevent oxidation and nitride formation.

Thermal decomposition of potassium titanium oxalate [PDF]
The thermal decomposition of potassium titanium oxalate (PTO) was studied using non-isothermal thermogravimetry at different heating rates under a nitrogen atmosphere. The thermal decomposition of PTO proceeds mainly through five stages forming potassium
