Creep‐Induced Microstructural Evolution in an A2‐B2 Superalloy
A 27.3Ta‐27.3Mo‐27.3Ti‐8Cr‐10Al (at.%) refractory high‐entropy alloy with precipitation‐strengthened A2‐B2 microstructure was studied by creep tests at 1030°C, which demonstrate a transition in deformation mechanisms in the range of 100–150 MPa applied stress. This is associated with changes in dislocation–precipitate interactions. Relevant deformation

Performance degradation and recovery of YSZ membrane under sulphuric acid thermal decomposition [PDF]
The effect of sulphur dioxide (SO2) present in the cathode feed stream on the performance of a 8 mole% yttria-stabilized zirconia/platinum (8YSZ/Pt) cell was studied. SO2 concentration of 30% in oxygen (5ml/min) and helium (30ml/min) was exposed to

The coupling effect of heat absorption and release exists in the thermal decomposition of a few chemical materials. However, the impact of the above coupling on thermal hazard assessment is not considered in the literature studies.

Thermal degradation behaviour of some polydithiooxamide metal complexes
The thermal decomposition behavior of the Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Zn(II) complexes of polydithiooxamide has been investigated by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) at a heating rate of 20°C min -1 under nitrogen.

This study shows that superalloys used in aircraft engine disks become much more prone to deformation at high temperatures if they have been strained during manufacturing. This effect increases with the level of prior strain but eventually reaches a limit.

Thermal analysis of prednicarbate and characterization of thermal decomposition product [PDF]
In the present work, the thermal behavior of prednicarbate was studied using DSC and TG/DTG. The solid product remaining at the first decomposition step of the drug was isolated by TG, in air and N(2) atmospheres and was characterized using LC-MS/MS, NMR,

A Practical Noise2Noise Denoising Pipeline for High‐Throughput Raman Spectroscopy
A lightweight and reproducible denoising pipeline for high‐throughput Raman spectroscopy is introduced, based on a 1D convolutional autoencoder trained with a Noise2Noise strategy. Using only repeated short‐exposure acquisitions, the method suppresses stochastic noise without reference spectra, enabling reliable spectral reconstruction while preserving

ANALYSIS OF THERMAL DECOMPOSITION KINETICS AND THERMAL HAZARD ASSESSMENT OF NITROBENZOIC ACID ISOMERS BY DSC AND THERMOGRAVIMETRIC METHOD [PDF]
Nitroaromatic acids, ubiquitous intermediates in nitro compounds, find broad applications in pharmaceuticals and fine chemical industries, yet their safety often receives inadequate attention.

Experimental and Density Functional Theory Studies on 1,1,1,4,4,4-Hexafluoro-2-Butene Pyrolysis
A series of thermal decomposition experiments were conducted over a temperature range of 873–1073 K to evaluate the thermal stability of 1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluoro-2-butene (HFO-1336mzz(Z)) and the production of hydrogen fluoride (HF).
