Residual adhesive after electrode loading in adhesive‐assisted resistance spot welding is quantified through a traceable experimental‐to‐digital workflow. Chromatic confocal topography provides calibrated surface‐height data, while OpenCV detects the electrode imprint and integrates adhesive height into comparable volume metrics.

Thermal decomposition of a fullerene mix [PDF]
Experiments to characterize fullerene decomposition at temperatures above 973 K were conducted by spectroscopic analysis of samples heated in vacuo. The thermal decomposition can be described by first-order kinetics with an activation energy of 266±9 kJ/mol and a preexponential factor of 1.24×10^(9) s^-1.

Solvate ionic liquids lubrication reduced the coefficient of friction by ∼60% compared to dry sliding, reaching steady‐state values as low as 0.04–0.05. Corrosion weight‐loss measurements in 1 M HCl further demonstrated significant inhibition behavior, with only 100 ppm of [Li(G3)][TFSI] (∼68.5 μL/L) reducing corrosion‐product weight loss by 63 ...

Thermal behavior of native, washed and steam exploded lignocellulosic biomass samples [PDF]
The aim of this study was to evaluate the chemical changes in the main components (cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin) of various lignocellulosic biomass samples during the steam explosion pretreatment. Pyrolysis-gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (Py-

Unsteady Analysis of Molten Salt Pump Based on Dynamic Mode Decomposition [PDF]
As the main heat storage medium in photothermal power station, binary molten salt undergoes thermal decomposition above 450°C, generating gas that accumulates within molten salt pump flow passages and affects pump performance.

Thermal decomposition products of polymethylene
AbstractDecomposition products of polymers have been determined by many investigators, but the results are often conflicting because of difficulties in analyzing a large number of products. A comprehensive analysis of the volatile thermal decomposition products of high‐density polyethylene has been made with the latest techniques in gas chromatography.

Thermal Decomposition Mechanism for Ethanethiol [PDF]
The thermal decomposition of ethanethiol was studied using a 1 mm × 2 cm pulsed silicon carbide microtubular reactor, CH3CH2SH + Δ → Products. Unlike previous studies these experiments were able to identify the initial ethanethiol decomposition products. Ethanethiol was entrained in either an Ar or a He carrier gas, passed through a heated (300-1700 K)

Counterion Dependent Side‐Chain Relaxation Stiffens a Chemically Doped Thienothiophene Copolymer
Oxidation of a thienothiophene copolymer, p(g3TT‐T2), via different doping strategies and dopant molecules resulted in materials with similar oxidation levels and a high electrical conductivity of ≈100 S cm−1. However, mechanical properties varied significantly, with sub‐glass transition temperatures and elastic moduli spanning from –44°C to –3°C and ...
