The combined effect of mechanical and thermal energy on the solid-state formation of NiFe2O4 from the system 2NiCO3·3Ni(OH)2·4H2O–FeC2O4·2H2O

Thermochimica Acta, 2008
Abstract Spinel-type ferrites MFe2O4 (M = Ni, Zn, Mn, Co, Mg) are among the most important magnetic materials and they are prepared mostly by solid-state reaction at elevated temperatures. We proposed in the past [V. Sepelak, I. Bergmann, A. Feldhoff, P. Heitjans, F. Krumeich, D. Mmenzel, F.J. Litterst, S.J. Campbell, K. Becker, J. Phys. Chem. C 111 (

Effect of exogenous metal ions and mechanical stress on rice processed in thermal-solid enzymatic reaction system related to further alcoholic fermentation efficiency

Food Chemistry, 2018
Metal-rich thermal-solid enzymatic processing of rice combined with yeast fermentation was investigated. 8 Metal ions were exogenously supplied at 0.05, 0.5 and 5mmol/100g (MG) rice prior to static high pressure enzymatic cooking (HPEC) and dynamic enzymatic extrusion cooking (EEC).

Effect of Solid Content on Rheological, Mechanical, and Thermal Properties of Adipic Acid‐Based Flame Retardant Polyurethane Dispersion

Journal of Applied Polymer Science
ABSTRACTThe solid concentration of polyurethane dispersion is an important aspect of the coating application. In the present work, anionic waterborne polyurethane was prepared by reacting PPG‐100, adipic acid, and THPP‐based monophosphate polyester diol with IPDI. The formulation was done by varying solid concentrations of dispersion.

Effect of thermal pre‐compressing on ionic conductivity and mechanical properties of PEO‐based solid‐state electrolytes

Journal of Applied Polymer Science
AbstractPolyethylene oxide (PEO)‐based solid polymer electrolytes are regarded as promising electrolyte materials because of their safety and flexibility. However, low ionic conductivity at ambient temperature and poor mechanical properties have been a hindrance to its development.

A New Lattice Element Method (LEM) with Integrated Interface Elements to Determine the Effective Thermal Conductivity of Rock Solids Under Thermo-Mechanical Processes

2018
In order to determine the change of thermal conductivity of rock solids under coupled thermo-mechanical processes and developed microstructure fractures, an application of a new lattice element method (LEM) with additional interface elements representing the bond between the particles is investigated.
