Entropy‐Driven Design of Low‐Melting‐Point Alloys via Compositionally Complex Strategy
Conventional low‐melting‐point alloys (LMPAs) are limited by a narrow compositional space and inherent property trade‐offs. This review presents an entropy‐driven design strategy that overcomes these limitations, ushering in a new class of low‐melting‐point compositionally complex alloys (LMCCAs).

Gallium microalloying redirects interfacial reactions in low‐temperature Bi–Sn solders from Cu–Sn toward Cu–Ga intermetallic formation. The resulting Cu–Ga layer suppresses intermetallic growth during thermal aging, alters fracture pathways, and improves interfacial stability.

Thermal-strength analysis of a cross-flow heat exchanger and its design improvement
After a year of the heat exchanger operation in overload conditions, a number of cracks on the tube connections to the tubesheet have been observed. To explain the stress concentration and crack initiation, a finite element analysis is performed. A three-

MODELLING OF STRESS GRADIENT EFFECT ON FATIGUE LIFE USING WEIBULL BASED DISTRIBUTION FUNCTION [PDF]
In the present paper, a new approach is developed in order to take into account the stress gradient effect on fatigue life of structural components. The proposed approach is based on the weakest link concept in which the shape coefficient of the Weibull ...
