AIP Conference Proceedings, 2009High‐contrast imaging remains the only way to search for and study weakly‐irradiated giant exoplanets. We review here in brief a new high‐contrast imaging technique that operates in the 3–5 μm window and show the exquisite sensitivity that can be reached using this technique.
