Geochemical modelling of terrestrial igneous rock compositions using laboratory thermal emission spectroscopy with an overview on its applications to Indian Mars Mission [PDF]
We attempt geochemical modelling of igneous rock samples with a range of compositions using laboratory generated thermal emission spectra. Igneous rock samples, plutonic and volcanic variants of alkaline and sub alkaline composition were used for the ...

Operation Limits of Integrated Photo‐Rechargeable Batteries
This study elucidates the operational limitations of integrated photo‐rechargeable batteries. We demonstrate that the photo‐charging process is fundamentally restricted not only by material‐to‐material energy level alignment but also by transient capacitive charge accumulation within the cathode framework.

Photocatalytic Water Splitting on the Lunar Surface: Prospects for In Situ Resource Utilization
Water has been found in craters on the moon nearby locations which are illuminated >80% of the time. Photocatalysis uses energy from sunlight to drive chemical reactions such as water splitting to produce oxygen and hydrogen. It is a scalable technology that requires lighter equipment and utilizes resources available on the moon. ABSTRACT The discovery

Atomic Tuning of Metal‐Support Interactions for Pathway‐Selective CO2 Photoreduction on TiO2
Single‐atom Fe and Cu catalysts anchored on TiO2 steer photocatalytic CO2 reduction toward distinct pathways. Fe sites favor rapid *CO desorption and selective CO formation, whereas Cu sites stabilize *CHO intermediates, enabling deep reduction and C─C coupling. Combined spectroscopy and DFT calculations reveal how metal–support interactions and oxygen

Spectral behavior of sulfides in simulated daytime surface conditions of Mercury: Supporting past (MESSENGER) and future missions (BepiColombo) [PDF]
To detect the mineral diversity of a planet's surface, it is essential to study the spectral variations over a broad wavelength range at relevant simulated laboratory conditions.
