Modeling the Temperature Bias of Power Consumption for Nanometer-Scale CPUs in Application Processors

open access: yes, 2014
We introduce and experimentally validate a new macro-level model of the CPU temperature/power relationship within nanometer-scale application processors or system-on-chips.

Large‐scale bidirectional arrayed genetic screens identify OXR1 and EMC4 as modifiers of αSynuclein aggregation

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Optimization on the Control Mode of Thermal Power Unit to Suppress Low Frequency Oscillation of Power System

open access: yesZhongguo dianli, 2020
Due to the randomness of its occurrence in power system, currently there is no effective way to suppress the low frequency oscillations through the existing thermal control modes of generation units.

Research and Practice on Development Path of Low-carbon, Zero-carbon and Negative Carbon Transformation of Coal-fired Power Units Under “Double Carbon” Targets

open access: yes发电技术, 2022
Based on the existing relevant technical system, coal-fired power units can be gradually transformed through the “three-step” carbon reduction strategy, that is, through technical carbon reduction (coal consumption reduction and deep peak shaving) to ...

Predicting Epileptogenic Tubers in Patients With Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Using a Fusion Model Integrating Lesion Network Mapping and Machine Learning

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Accurate localization of epileptogenic tubers (ETs) in patients with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is essential but challenging, as these tubers lack distinct pathological or genetic markers to differentiate them from other cortical tubers.
