Energy and Buildings, 1994The results from a BRE survey, conducted in new homes during winter and summer, are presented. The occupants' reported thermal sensation (TS) was obtained using the ASHRAE scale and sufficient physical measurements were made to allow their predicted mean thermal sensation vote (PMV) to be computed.
