Advancing Precision Nutrition Through Multimodal Data and Artificial Intelligence

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Individual responses to food vary dramatically, challenging traditional dietary advice. This review explores how the unique genetic makeup, gut microbiome, and brain activity shape host metabolic health. We examine how artificial intelligence integrates these multimodal data to predict individualized dietary needs, moving beyond one‐size‐fits‐all ...

Thermal Stratification in Solar Storage Tanks: Long-Term Modelling and Efficiency Analysis

open access: yesEnergies
The storage tank plays a key role in solar thermal installations, as thermal stratification allows high temperatures to be maintained in the upper region while keeping the return temperature to the collectors low.

Hierarchical Channeled Graphitized Nanoarchitecture as a Diagnostic Platform for Maternal Fever Warning

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a hierarchically channeled graphitized nanoarchitecture (HPGC‐Z67) as a novel nano‐diagnostic platform. It enables sensitive and efficient N‐glycan extraction from plasma, significantly reducing processing time and cost. The platform identifies pivotal N‐glycans to accurately differentiate between infectious and non‐infectious ...

The Hydrodynamic, Thermodynamic, and Mixing Impacts of Floating Photovoltaics on the Surface of a Lake

open access: yesWater Resources Research
The use of floating photovoltaic panels (FPVs) on lakes and reservoirs is expanding globally. However, their impacts on water column motion, mixing, and thermal stratification remain poorly understood, often characterized by overly simplistic modeling ...

Oxygen Dynamics in a Complex Climate Change: Investigating Thermocline and Hypoxia in Lake Długie Wigierskie, Poland

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering
Complex climate change exacerbates variability in bottom oxygen availability, posing serious threats to aquatic ecosystems. This study investigates the interrelationships among meteorological, thermocline, oxycline variables, and the Kjeldahl nitrogen ...

Compensatory Interplay Between Clarin‐1 and Clarin‐2 Deafness‐Associated Proteins Governs Phenotypic Variability in Hearing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Functional compensation between clarin‐1 and clarin‐2 in cochlear hair cells. Hearing loss associated with CLRN1 mutations shows striking phenotypic variability; however, the underlying mechanisms remain poorly understood. This study reveals that clarin‐1 and clarin‐2 function cooperatively in cochlear hair cells to sustain mechanoelectrical ...

Cryoablation Activates the cGAS–STING‐CXCL10 Axis in Macrophages to Enhance Anti‐Tumor Immunity in NSCLC

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tumor dsDNA released by cryoablation is taken up by macrophages, activating the cGAS‐STING signaling pathway. This leads to an expansion of the CXCL10+ macrophage pool and increased secretion of CXCL10, which in turn recruits CXCR3+ T cells from draining lymph nodes into the tumor microenvironment to exert anti‐tumor effects.

AI‐Assisted Self‐Powered Wearable Dual‐Mode Sensor With TENG and Stretchable Optical Fiber for Neurological Disorder Diagnostics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This manuscript presents the WDMS platform, an AI‐assisted, self‐powered wearable dual‐mode sensor for tele‐neurology. It integrates a contact–separation TENG insole with stretchable polyurethane optical‐fiber strain sensors to synchronously track plantar pressure and lower‐limb muscle deformation.
