A Review on The Impact of Thermal Stress on Fish Biochemistry

open access: yesAquatic Sciences and Engineering
Fish are an important resource for humans, providing food, economic support, and ecological services. However, rising global temperatures and subsequent increases in their habitat water temperature, pose a significant challenge. We conducted a systematic

Ferrocene Derivatives Enable Ultrasensitive Perovskite Photodetectors with Enhanced Reverse Bias Stability

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Novel ferrocene derivatives (e.g., FcPhc2) are used as an ultrathin layer hole‐blocking layer, reducing hole injection from the Ag contact. This results in an ultralow noise spectral density of 1.2 × 10−14 A Hz−1/2, and a high specific detectivity of 8.1 × 1012 Jones at −0.5 V.

Morphometric and Enzymatic Changes in Gills of Rainbow Trout After Exposure to Suboptimal Low Temperature

open access: yesCurrent Issues in Molecular Biology
The present study investigated the influence of a 30 day exposure of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) to a suboptimal low temperature of 1.8 ± 1.0 °C on their different gill characteristics (morphometry, enzyme activities, and expression of genes) in ...

Study on Thermal/Moisture Expansion Stress of a Drop-Out Fuse Insulator

open access: yesJournal of Applied Science and Engineering
Drop-out fuses are widely used electrical devices, and their reliability directly affects the safety of power supply systems. Porcelain insulators, as a critical component, are prone to cracking, which significantly disrupts the order of power production.
