Photocatalytic CO2 Reduction Over BiOX on Needle Coke–Derived Graphene Composites

open access: yesCarbon and Hydrogen, EarlyView.
By in situ growing BiOX on needle coke–derived graphene to construct a composite photocatalyst, interfacial charge transfer is effectively enhanced. The optimized BiOBr‐25%NCG achieves a CO production rate of 46.32 μmol·g−1·h−1 from photocatalytic CO2 reduction without sacrificial agents.

Finding a suitable catalyst for on-board ethanol reforming using exhaust heat from an internal combustion engine [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Ethanol steam reforming with pure ethanol and commercial bioethanol (S/C = 3) was carried out inside the housing of the exhaust gas pipe of a gasoline internal combustion engine (ICE) by using exhaust heat (610–620 °C).
