Thermoelectric properties of Bi2O2Se
Materials Chemistry and Physics, 2010Abstract Bi 2 O 2 Se was synthesized from Bi 2 Se 3 and Bi 2 O 3 by solid state reaction in an evacuated quartz ampoule. The product crystallizes in the tetragonal type lattice and X-ray pattern displays lines of the Bi 2 O 2 Se only. Samples for thermoelectric property measurements were prepared using hot pressing in rectangular graphite dies. The

Thermoelectric Property in Multiferroics
Advanced Materials Research, 2012Thermoelectricity has gained special interest due to its potential applications, especially the advancements in the electronic devices with very low power consumption. Thermoelectric materials can be used to make energy conversion devices that generate power from thermal sources. Multiferroic oxides, in particular cobaltates, have been actively studied

Thermoelectric properties of Mo3Te4
Journal of Alloys and Compounds, 2002Abstract The thermoelectric properties of Mo3Te4 are evaluated in the temperature range from room temperature to about 1000 K. The elastic constants and Debye temperature of Mo3Te4 are also evaluated from sound velocity measurements made by the ultrasonic pulse-echo method. The relationships between several properties of Mo3Te4 are studied.

Thermoelectric systems: Ion beam enhanced thermoelectric properties
Applied Surface Science, 2014Abstract A thermoelectric system based on the interaction of composites of two metal nanocrystals in silica substrate prepared by a multilayer structure having alternate layers of metal/material mixture is discussed in detail in this paper. The alternate layers component of this work has two metal content, gold and silver.

Thermoelectrical properties of superlattices
XVI ICT '97. Proceedings ICT'97. 16th International Conference on Thermoelectrics (Cat. No.97TH8291), 2002Recent investigations show that thermoelectric properties of superlattices, where electronic density of states is two-dimensional, may be greatly improved. In our report the calculations of thermoelectric properties of Si/Ge superlattices are proposed. Superlattice band structure was calculated in the frame of the tight-binding model (sp/sup 3/s/sup */)

Thermoelectric properties of CoSb3
Journal of Alloys and Compounds, 2001Abstract The typical skutterudite structure compound CoSb 3 was prepared by arc melting followed by sintering. The samples were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction method, electron probe microanalysis (EPMA), and the thermoelectric properties such as the thermal diffusivity, electrical resistivity, and Seebeck coefficient were measured in the ...

Thermoelectric properties of KCaF3
Physica B: Condensed Matter, 2019Abstract Using first-principles calculations based on density functional theory (DFT) with generalized gradient approximation (GGA), the electronic and thermoelectric properties of KCaF3 are calculated. The electronic structure calculated with GGA shows that KCaF3 is an insulator.
