Thermogravimetric and kinetic analysis of Spirulina wastes under nitrogen and air atmospheres
The pyrolysis and combustion of Spirulina wastes were assessed by thermogravimetric analysis. The results showed that combustion has considerable difference from pyrolysis under the inert atmosphere, such as the enhancement of the decomposition at low ...

Thermogravimetric analysis-mass spectrometry (TG-MS) of selected Chinese kaolinites
Thermogravimetric analysis-mass spectrometry, X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were used to characterize eight kaolinite samples from China. The results show that the thermal decomposition occurs in three main steps (a) desorption

A thermogravimetric and infrared emission spectroscopic study of alunite
Thermogravimetric and differential thermogravimetric analysis has been used to characterise alunite of formula [K2(Al 3+)6(SO4)4(OH)12 ]. Thermal decomposition occurs in a series of steps (a) dehydration up to 225 °C (b) well defined dehydroxylation at ...

Thermogravimetric analysis of gasification and pyrolysis of algae biomass [PDF]
In the present paper, the case of the brown algae Saccharina japonica from Aniva Bay (Sea of Okhotsk, Sakhalin Island) was investigated by a thermogravimetric analysis up to 700°C at different atmospheres.

Titanium Suboxides Responsible for Electronic Anomaly Near Room Temperature in the Ti3C2Tx MXene
Our multi‐technique study reveals that the near‐room‐temperature anomaly in Ti3C2Tx MXene is linked to titanium suboxide nanodomains, including Ti3O5, embedded within the MXene host. Their temperature‐driven transformation provides an alternative explanation to solvent‐ and swelling‐based models and offers new insight into the thermally activated ...

In the work reported herein, dipole‐engineered sulfonated carbon nanofibers enable conductive additives to actively regulate interphase formation in silicon anodes. Polar sulfonyl groups guide electrolyte decomposition to form a compact LiF‐rich interphase while promoting robust integration with silicon.

Sulfur fluoride exchange (SuFEx) is a powerful click platform, yet water‐compatible multifunctional linchpins remain elusive. Here, we report decagram‐scalable diazonium linchpins that enable rapid Pd‐catalyzed diversification and direct, catalyst‐free on‐DNA ligation in aqueous media.
