In vivo dosimetry with thermoluminescent dosimeters in external photon beam radiotherapy

open access: yesApplied Radiation and Isotopes, 2010
The ultimate check of the actual dose delivered to a patient in radiotherapy can only be achieved by using in vivo dosimetry. This work reports a pilot study to test the applicability of a thermoluminescent dosimetric system for performing in vivo ...

Thermoluminescent dosimetry in veterinary diagnostic radiology

Applied Radiation and Isotopes, 2012
This paper presents the results of Environmental and Personnel Dosimetry made in a radiology area of a veterinary hospital. Dosimetry was realized using thermoluminescent (TL) materials. Environmental Dosimetry results show that areas closer to the X-ray equipment are safe.
