Thermomechanical Processes in the Production of Mineral Fibers
Refractories and Industrial Ceramics, 2004A theoretical model for thermomechanical processes in high-temperature gas-blown mineral fiber technology has been developed and its use for engineering analysis of rational production regimes is demonstrated. Ways of updating the fiber buildup nozzle assembly are suggested.

Thermomechanical Processing of Titanium and Nickel Alloys
Journal of Machinery Manufacture and Reliability, 2020This article considers aspects of thermomechanical processing at T > 400°C of Ti and Ni alloys with shape memory and the properties of materials with thermal elastic transformations, depending on the thermal and thermomechanical action as well as the aspects of thermal processing of metals with thermoelastic transformations.

Thermomechanical Processing of Thixomolded Alloys
2017A wide variety of Mg alloys have been processed by Thixomolding ® followed by thermomechanical processing (TMP)—to increase tensile, creep and fatigue strength, ductility and formability. These alloys encompass variations in Al, Zn, Ca, Mn, Sr, Y, Zr and Rare Earths (RE) in the Mg base.

Thermomechanical Processing of Medium Manganese Steels
Materials Science Forum, 2016As third generation advanced high strength steels (AHSS) managing both high strength and good ductility/formability, medium manganese steels containing 3-7 wt% Mn have attracted attentions recently. However, the fundamental microstructure evolution during thermomechanical processing and heat treatments in medium-Mn steels is still unclear.

Determining the thermomechanical characteristics of the separation process
Mechanics of Solids, 2007The crack growth condition was obtained in [1, 2] from energy considerations and holds for arbitrary nonlinearly elastic materials. This condition is reduced to determining the trajectory-independent transition from one of the shores of the mathematical cut to the other shore in the J-integral.

Thermomechanical Processing of Ferrous Alloys
1978Thermomechanical treatments have demonstrated great promise for increasing the strength and other mechanical properties of ferrous alloys. Various types of thermomechanical treatments can be defined, depending on the position in the heat-treatment cycle where the deformation is introduced. The characteristics of various treatments are briefly described.

Historical Aspects of Thermomechanical Processing for Steels
Materials Science Forum, 2007Thermomechanical processing (TMP) involves both thermal and mechanical treatments that define both product shape and microstructure/properties. Since the industrial revolution, machines of augmented power, size and precision have given rise to TMP that challenged explanation of the crystal mechanisms.

Fractionation of process water in thermomechanical pulp mills
Bioresource Technology, 2010In this work process water from a thermomechanical pulp mill was divided into five fractions by filtration and membrane filtration. Suspended matter was mainly isolated in the retentate from the drum filter, extractives in the microfiltration retentate, hemicelluloses in the ultrafiltration retentate and lignin in the nanofiltration retentate.

Mathematical analysis of a thermomechanical milling process
GAMM-Mitteilungen, 2011AbstractThis article deals with a mathematical model describing the interaction between a cutting machine and workpiece in a milling process. The model consists of a system of ordinary differential equations with delay for the dynamics of the cutter and a linear thermoelastic system for the workpiece.

Thermomechanical Processing of Metallic Glasses
2019Depending on its thermal and kinetic history, a metallic glass (MG) of a given composition can show a wide range of energetic states. One central parameter determining the initial state of a glass is the cooling rate used to form it upon quenching from the melt.
