Deployable 3D‐Printed Vascular Stent with Surface‐Catalysed Endogenous Nitric Oxide Generation
A deployable 3D‐printed vascular stent was fabricated with surface‐catalyzed endogenous nitric oxide generation, representing a promising new direction for stent development. The stent can be remotely controlled by magnetic force in its compressed state and fully deployed at the target site using an untethered heat source, potentially eliminating the ...

Calibration of a resistance thermometer down to 0.04 degrees K [PDF]
Method for calibrating germanium-resistance thermometers in cryostats between 0.4 degrees K and 4 degrees K involves extrapolating the specific heat of a simple metal to low temperatures.

Unruh versus Tolman: On the heat of acceleration
It is shown that the Unruh effect, i.e. the increase in temperature indicated by a uniformly accelerated thermometer in an inertial vacuum state of a quantum field, cannot be interpreted as the result of an exchange of heat with a surrounding gas.

$\gamma$-Radiation of thermalized Quark-Gluon-Plasma [PDF]
Long time ago, photon production was proposed as a probe and a thermometer for Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP). However, only recently has the complete $\alpha_s$ order photon spectrum been obtained.

Crack Repair in Hydroxyapatite Bioceramics Using an Ultraviolet Ultrafast Laser
The study proposes an ultrafast ultraviolet laser approach to repair hidden tooth cracks, which has been preliminarily validated on HAP. Moreover, this technique aims to strengthen the native enamel structure rather than introducing a foreign filling material.

A Hypothesis about Lukewarm Feeling in Japanese Firms
Japanese companies often criticize themselves on their own “nurumayu [lukewarm] nature.” Takahashi (1989) states that, in reality, however, the lukewarm feeling felt by organization members can be explained through the effective temperature hypothesis ...
