Rounded Monodisperse Fluorescent Nanodiamonds

Nanodiamond (ND) shape control using rapid molten‐nitrate etching is studied as a scale‐up method for monodispersed rounded particles. Optimal etching condition (567°C for 6 min) yields NDs with atomically stepped surfaces and reduced sp2 content. Safeguarding the Photoluminescence of Silver Sulfide Nanocrystals in Biological Environments via Silica Shielding

Interactions with biomolecules can alter the photoluminescence of Ag2S nanocrystals, undermining near‐infrared imaging and thermometry. Incorporation into dendritic silica minimizes these interactions and preserves emission intensity, spectral response, and lifetime in plasma and whole blood. Crystallinity Effects on Near‐Infrared Photoresponse in Y6‐Based Organic Phototransistors

Solution‐processed Y6 thin films are investigated as active layers of organic field‐effect transistors and as near‐infrared photodetectors. Enhanced crystallinity in Y6 films induced by thermal annealing leads to improved charge transport and pronounced photoresponsivity.
