Abstract Polarization between groups can undermine durable conservation outcomes. Activating group identities (i.e., an individual's sense of self derived from membership in a group) can exacerbate differences, especially when people hold inaccurate perceptions of their peers and rivals.

Allergic contact dermatitis markedly impairs quality of life (QoL) across symptoms, functioning and emotional domains. Using DLQI, Skindex‐29 and EQ‐5D‐5L, our study demonstrates a substantial multidimensional burden and highlights the need for routine, patient‐centred QoL assessment in clinical management.
